29, Portuguese, Ballads and easy-listening music w/
quick blurbs (IDs?) by OM b/w selections. Weak but
steady signal over static. (Barbour-NH)

4910, ZAMBIA, R.Zambia, 0341-0352, July 3, Vernacular,
Native choral-like vocal music, OM at 0346 w/
tentative "Radio Zambia" ID in passing, back to vocal
music. Fair/poor. (Barbour-NH)

4925, UNIDENTIFIED, 0420-0440, July 3,
Vernacular/Spanish, Continuos choral-like
chanting/vocal music w/ weak, brief OM talks b/w
selections. YL at 0437 joined by OM. No ID noted but
the music sounds very African. Possibly Radio
Nacional-Bata, Equatorial Guinea? Poor signal under

5890, USA, R.Thailand relay via Delano, 0048-0102,
June 29, English/Thai, YL w/ info re various Thai
expos and conferences, sports nx and weather, ID/IS. 8
bells followed by "The time is 8 AM in the Kingdom of
Thailand", IS and Thai ID and news. Fair/good.
Everyone has there favorite DX "quirks", mine are
local time checks. (Barbour-NH)

6150v, NORTHERN CYPRUS, Bayrak RTV (presumed),
2248-2300, June 29, Greek?, Alternating talks b/w OM
and YL, mx bridges at 22512 and 2254. Very weak,
crushed at 2300 by 6145 CRI and 6155 ORF. I dont think
I have ever heard anythign at this time/frequency.

Mandarin, Presumed ad block at t/in, OM at 2205 w/

OM talking about the NFL and ESPN's "Power Rankings".

then highlights w/ numeorous mentions of "Ronaldo".

ID at 2100, "Newsline" re Tony Blair, Iraq and
Wimbledon scores. Good. //s 9485 Flevo, good; 9700
Flevo, fair w/ fades; 13665 Petro-K., surprisingly
good; 21580 Bonaire, good w/ "hum". (Barbour-NH)
