[HCDX] Saga

Re >>>UK FM station on 7379 (7378.9 to be exact) at 0620-0700. It identified
as Saga 106.6 FM and according to WRTH it is situated in Nottingham. Lots of
njice music and commercials for thye Midland area. Is it a relay via a
pirate station or what? via Björn Fransson <<<

A SW relay of the same station was heard on the 41mb soon after Saga began
transmissions in the East Midlands, and appeared to be a "live" relay
according to time checks etc... AT THAT TIME it was concluded that the
only way a relay could take place was off air from within the reception area
of 106.6, but there may now be an internet feed etc. available.

This transmitter might be the same one that has been heard for some years at
irregular times on various 41m frequencies [7160 used to be the favourite]
broadcasting old pirate and BBC Radio 1 tapes without any ID of it's own.
