RE: VS: [HCDX] Re 15500 unid

DXing or SWL is just more than listening,.. its also getting info right.. So remember before going into print etc Check your info even if you have tp play tape over a 100 times....

The number of requests for QSL's with wrong info is High...ask any Radio Engineer at a SW or MW Station.......I tourde Most of Europse SW Stations in the 17 years I was Posted to London...and I saw for my self....and you'd be surprised and understood why many dont bother to reply...

It seems I was wrong in assuming that this English
"Studio Classroom" program was via Taiwanese transmitter
on 15500. As some of you pointed out, this was instead
broadcast by CNR2. I checked again my recording of
19 Sep and indeed, just before 1400, within the Chinese
announcement there was brief mention of "China Business
Radio". This was earlier unnoticed as the CNR1 signal
was strong at the moment, but now knowing what to look
for, there it was. Many thanks to everyone.

Sounds like China Business Radio, one of the PRC domestic service programs which includes English segments. In fact 15500 is one of multiple frequencies for CNR-2, per Eibi list, straight thru from 2300 to 1400; see http://www.susi-und-strolch.de/eibi/dx/bc-a04.txt (Glenn Hauser, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
