[HCDX] any clues on unidentified ones?
Good Morning
(at least still here in Sweden...)
Could you out there perhaps help me with clues on two unidentified
stations from last week end?
The first one is on MW 1540 at 2315 UTC Feb 4th..
Who is carrying United Nations Radio starting at this time?
Bahamas was heard with talk about carnival in the West Indies. I think
they went on with music then. My first thought about UN Radio was CHIN,
Toronto (as e.g CFAV, Laval 1570 was on a tremendous signal at the same
time), but when checking their websight they are on China Radio also at
this time. Does Bahamas carry UN Radio (and I misstook them playing
music) or what could this be?
The other one is on SW 4865 at 23.07 UTC Feb 4th. already closing down.
Brazilian with a good signal. Religious , probably Catholic, program (
numerous "gracia del Dios"). Also announcing books and information
materials for "publica internacional", costing 20 and 25 "Dolares".
Closing down after a kind of Hymn (woman singing, think it was called
something like "Arecibo") and without any announcements that I could
get as early as 23.07 UTC. After that I had two very week signals, both
proabably Brazilian, on 4865,04 and 4865,3.
Hoping for your ideas!
Best regards
