[HCDX] Logs and QSL from NH-USA, week ending Jan.22



Nice to see conditions improving after a brutal couple
of days in which DXing was an excercise in futility.

4386.94, PERU, R.Imperio, 2358-0012, Jan.17, Spanish,
Continous religous music with brief talks by OM.
Poor/fair with static. (Barbour-NH)

4775, PERU, R.Tarma, 0051-0103, Jan.18, Spanish,
Ballads, musical bits and talks by various announcers.
Fanfare/"canned" ID at 0100. Poor/fair. (Barbour-NH)

4920, TIBET, Xizang PBS-Lhasa, 1110-1121, Jan.22,
Tibetan, Ballads and talks over music by OM and YL.
Poor. // 4905 slightly better. (Barbour-NH)

4990, SURINAME, (p)R.Apintie, 0001-0032, Jan.22,
Vernacular, Talks by YL announcer straight thru 0026
then choral ballad, brief OM over music then back to
YL. Poor under static, unable to get a good read on
the language. Not sure about this one. (Barbour-NH)

5544.65, PERU, (p)R.San Andreas, 0105-0125, Jan.18,
Spanish-?, Continuos format of ballads with brief
announcer over music at end of each selection. Very
weak/poor. (Barbour-NH)

5939.42, PERU, R.Melodia, 1026-1050, Jan.22, Spanish,
Discussion b/w two OM in studio and a YL via phone.
Full ID at 1050. Fair at t/in w/ occasional QRN
"blasts", gradually fading by t/out. (Barbour-NH)

6134.8, BOLIVIA, R.Santa Cruz, 0956-1008, Jan.22,
Spanish, Full ID at t/in, "Off-key" sounding music
until 1000, OM and YL thru t/out. Good! (Barbour-NH)

6957, PERU, R.LV del Campesino, 0232-0250, Jan.17,
Spanish, Up-tempo music with familiar sounding,
fast-paced OM between selections. Fair by  t/out.

Mandarin, Alternating OM and YL over music, ballad
thru 1130, YL w/ telephone effects. Fair. //
