580 DOMINICAN REPUBLIC,   HIAF, Radio Monte Cristi, Monte Cristi JAN 26 0144 - Bachata mx in mess. Very poor. First reception of this pretty tough country in the new year for me ! (Chiochiu-QC)

600 CUBA,   CMKV, Radio Rebelde, Urbano Norris JAN 26 0215 - Cuban baseball, very strong, SIO 454 at this time and SIO 323 a few minutes later with residual WICC appearing, // 670 (very good, but with intense splash mainly from local-like WFAN-660, but also some 690 local one). (Chiochiu-QC)

890 CUBA,   CMDZ, Radio Progreso, Chambas JAN 26 0127 - Nx - the most interesting item was about a manifestation with "lider revolucionario" against the anti-Cuban attitude of the Americans. (Chiochiu-QC)

6140 COLOMBIA,   HJCU, Radio Lider, Santafé de Bogota JAN 26 0155 - Romantic Spanish music, SIO 423. (Chiochiu-QC)

Not much this days on MW; the only really interesting reception was HIAF-580 last night. I really hope either for a come-back of the October-like high-latitude TA furry or for a classic auroral opening like in the beginning of December 2000 when Colombia-610 and Rumbos-670 were booming in ! Still nice to listen to almost every night to Radio Progreso 890, with great musical programming. 

I'm buzzy with physical training, so I missed Radio Triple SH Peru on 5700v, but I'll try for them the next days.
