Apr.30, English, End of nx re Indonesian violence,
weather, "ABC News" ID at 0940 and "ABC TV" promo.
Music intro from "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" and
2 OM re "nationwide controversy" of some sort, pop
music. Fair at t/in, fading rapidly after that.

Apr.30, Spanish, Local music, talk over music at 0930
into religous service w/ YL simultaneusly praying.

Spanish, OM w/ brief talks b/w ballads. "Canned" ID
announcment at s/off. Poor w/ "sweeper" QRM.

Spanish, OM w/ lengthy talks seperated by brief music
bits. "Canned" announcment/ad string at 0046, music at
0051, OM and various announcer thru 0100. Poor, no

7295, MALAYSIA, Traxx FM, 1039-1102, Apr.30, English,
OM w/ promos at t/in, solid ID w/ echo FX at 1040.
Easy listening pop music until OM at 1055 re
"Malaysia". More music and "echoing" ID at 1100. Poor,
needed USB to seperate from 7294L ham with a huge
signal. First Malysian log here in quite some time for
myself. Heard nothing but DRM hash on frequency all

7590U, ICELAND, AFN, 2218-2232, Apr.25, English, NPR
programming with "All Things Considered" re Mars
exploration. NPR ID and PSA's at 2228. "Marketplace"
at 2230 re GW plan for rising fuel prices. Good.

w/ talk, Music at 1056; YL talk over at 1058. Fanfare
and YL at 1100 into ballad and more talk, OM at 1107
with huge drop in audio. Poor. I still can't pull a

15345.15, ARGENTINA, RAE, 2115-2133, Apr.25,
German/Spanish, OM and YL w/ talks, Santiago and Santa
Cruz mentioned. Nice SP ballads and instrumental

PIRATES:
Nothing logged in months and now this. When it rains,
it pours!

6925U, UNDERCOVER RADIO, 0034-0056, Apr.24, Dr. Benway
w/ "20th Anniversary" prg. detailing his rather
humorous experiences as a pirate and run in with the
FCC. Played some old tapes of his days as "Progressive
Music Radio". Good signal. QSL requests to

6925U, CBZO, 0001-0023*, Apr.29, Canadian themed
pirate w/ audio from the Bob and Doug McKenzie movie
"Strange Brew" and their album "The Great White
North". (Classic!!!). Several IDs between "off-color"
Canadian themed humour by Terrence & Philip and
punk-type music. "America-@#$%& Yeah" from Team
America and "Join the Army and kill some Canadian scum
as we continue the march to war" via South Park at
s/off. Fair/poor. (Barbour-NH) 

6950, WNKR(via Channel Z relay-?), 0045-0102, Apr.26,
Classic rock by Foreigner, BTO, Brownsville Station
and Steely Dan. Various IDs and UK-accented OM b/w
selections w/ partail phone number-"287-???-5294".
Rough copy w/ static crashes, co-channel SP fisherman
and ute battling for dominance! (Barbour-NH)

6950, MAC RADIO, 0019-0045, Apr.30, Pop music by Goo
Goo Dolls and Tom Petty. OM w/ ID, banter at 0029.
Donovan(?)-"Hurdy Gurdy Man", Led Zep- "Thank You" and
one by Bad Company(I think?). Partial copy of computer
generated, audio e-mail address-macshortwave@(???).com
and OM re "..last three songs have something in
common..". What, I dont know! Another ID and back to
music at t/out. Fair w/ rough vox copy. (Barbour-NH)
