Hello to all of you !
This morning, gigantic rainfalls and huge thunderstorms are hitting the Montreal area. It's almost the apocalypse here ! I was hearing last night, while listening to cuban Progreso on 890 kHz, slightly more static than usually, but didn't expected really what was going on.
One of my semi-locals, CJLA "Couleur FM" 104,9 MHz in Lachute is running an open carrier, witht he stereo pilot on, but without any programs. I beat they are affected by the storm !!!
Even though I'm in the basement, I just heard fairly POWERFUL thunderstorm.
A strong thunderstorms appeared during the last dozens of minutes in Châteaugay, a small city on the South Shore of Montreal, about 15 kilometers from my home QTH.
On the TV, I saw we're gonna have T-storms all-day long.

Está mañana, hay una lluvia gigantica con poderosos truenos y relámpagos por aquí. Se trata CASI de la apocalipsis ! Fui sorprendido, la noche pasada, cuando estaba escuchando a Radio Progreso en los 890 kHz, de tener un poquito más QRN que lo que está costumbre, pero no pensé encontré una tempestad tan fuerte y violente.
Una de mis emisoras semi-locales, CJLA "Couleur FM" 104,9 MHz en el pueblo de Lachute está en el aire, pero sin programas. ¡ Creo que es destruida por la tempestad !!
Aunque estoy en la parte baja de mi casa, en el "basement" podi escuchar ahora un trueno bastante PODEROSO.
Miré la televisión, hay una nueva tempestad en un pueblo a 15 kilometros de mi casa, al sur. El pueblo se llama Châteaugay. Pienso que se trata de lo que teniemos durante los últimos minutos.
Vamos a tener tempestades electricas todo el día.
¡ Bueno, voy a dejar ustedes porqué la electricidad podría parar en cualquier momento !
