Hi
I wonder if you could listen to this recording of a Brazilian station on
1470 KHz (recorded at 2301 UTC on 25 September)
http://www.geocities.com/mwrecordings/1470unid.mp3
I am sure there is an id in there ....it sounds to me like "1470 kHz.........AM
Paraiba"
I think I am swayed by the fact that "Paraiba" most closely matches one of
the Brazilian stations which is actually on 1470:
Radio Vale do Paraiba (RVB) from Barra do Pirai, RJ. However this is only
listed as 1 kW/0.25 kW so it seems unlikely.
Later (not on the recording) there seem to be a few mentions of 'Bahia' There
is only one station listed from Bahia on 1470 - R Morro Verde, Mairi BA.
This too is just 0.25 kW and I here nothing approximating to it.
Many thanks for listening
