In March, Poland?s state-run radio will start broadcasting a few hours of 
news each day in Hebrew.

The government said the move would strengthen Poland?s ties with

?We want good relations between Poland and Israel and to provide the 
worldwide Jewish community with information about Poland?s Jewish

Poland had the largest Jewish population in Europe before World War 
II, but most were killed in the Holocaust. Approximately 10,000 Jews 
live in Poland today.
