[HCDX] Update from UKQRM (22.8.8)
Dear HF group members
UKQRM now has 371 members and 1601 shortwave radio users have signed the e-petition calling for a end to power line Ethernet here in the UK
http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/SaveShortwave/
A number of our members suffering this appalling interference have had the matter resolved by Ofcom and BT (myself included)
When a complaint is made BT has behaved well and removed the adaptors from the offending property!
However the fight is not over yet! Only last night another set came on line and I now have the interference again only this time from a property 500 or more yards from me!
Also its quite clear that the signal from these horrid devices is propagating in the evenings as this morning its much weaker!
I also found it was leaking into the mains supply and telephone lines locally!
You can make a difference and safeguard your hobby, pastime or professional use of HF by signing the petition (UK residents, those with UK voting rights only)
And or joining UKQRM to lend support.

We need those who are passionate about radio, with legal understanding, technical abilities those that just care.
If a stand is not made now, then shortwave will become swampt with these devices.
Already many suppliers are listing them cheaply.
Thanks
Mike UKQRM
