[HCDX] Firedrake again

China, 11825, Firedrake (Music Jammer) 1251-1300, Checked Passport for candidates for the jamming from Firedrake. Seems VOA is on this freq and Passport says they are being Jammed. Can hear a female in Oriental language under Jammer. At 1300 both Firedrake and weak signal go off the air. Radio Australia comes on at that time in Mandarin. Firedrake seems to be not
interested? (Chuck Bolland, September 20, 2008)

China, 11990, Firedrake (Music Jammer), 1305-1315, Again checked Passport for candidates of this jamming from Firedrake and found VOA again being the target probably. VOA is being relayed via Novosibirsk, Russia according to that source. Firedrake is so strong here, it's numbing through the speakers. I guess they want to reach the target source transmitter. (Chuck
Bolland, September 20, 2008)

China, 12040, Firedrake (Music Jammer), 1315-1330, Just paste the above comments here although the strength is less on 12040 than on 11990. Here VOA is being relayed via the Philippines according to Passport. Can't hear the VOA however. (Chuck Bolland, September 20, 2008)

Sweden, 12075, Radio Sweden, (pres), 1315-1330 Noted a couple of males in Russian language comments during the period. At 1327, it sounded like they were making closing comments which was followed with music. The signal which was poor, went off the air at 1329. (Chuck Bolland,
