Allaoleva australialaisen IPS:n viesti kertoo 06.04.2000 tapahtumasta:
"...HF Communications Warning 28 was issued on 6 April
and is current for interval 7-9 April. A sudden impulse of approximately
70nT was observed at around 06/1650UT. This has been followd
by depressed propagation conditions. The likely cause of this
disturbance is the CME observed after the C9/2F flare 04/1541UT. "

En malta olla kirjoittamatta uudelleen, sillä melkoinen valo-show
on taivaalla. Tavallisesti täällä etelässä näkyy lähinnä
vihreitä revontulia, mutta nyt näkyy keltaisia ja punaisia tehosteita.
En muista edes Lapissa nähneeni moisia efektejä.
Tiedote kertoo 21.15UTC K=5, A=30 ja major storm, huomenna varmaan jo
lisää...
