net underway, Breanna again NCS as WSHM692. Reception very poor this
time but usual rollcall with some replies; recopying all the details
of calls I can forego; see previous reports. Most but not all the
locations mentioned were Broken Arrow, Durant, Moore, Ponca City,
Pontotoc County, Seminole, Stillwater, Tulsa, Leflore County;
Jefferson City MO. Closed net at 1409 until next week, then one or two

but no 15390, S9+20/30/40 on 15500, with timesignal and Spanish promo

recorded at least 12 hours ago! The usual W&M pair, he with the heavy
accent. Previews topix including EU security and defence; whether the
great painting Guernica should be allowed to travel due to its
condition. 2202.5 news summary starting with Sánchez visited Xi in
Beijing; Spain has stopped an agreement with Israel over Lebanon; an

English; by 2208 is on, but heavy ACI from 11780 Brasil even with USB
tuning. At 2223, repeat of Sunday`s `Letterbox` is underway with Chris
Campbell`s denunciation of 11785 as useless due to this very QRM we
are now hearing, and then at 2226.5, my own agreement and
recommendation to move to 11790, 11795 or 11800 which are still
absolutely vacant! Did not listen to the olds, but I wonder if VOT

** U S A. 12160, Apr 15 before and after 1900, NO signal from this
WWCR-2, scheduled 15-20 UT, while 13845 is weak, but neighbor WTWW
9930 is blasting. No 12160 into PEI remote either. At 2123 the next
WWCR-2 channel, 9350 is also off but some ~9351 RTTY is audible. 9350
scheduled 20-24 still off at 2312. Nor next 5935 after 2400. See also

UNIDENTIFIED. 1627 & 1653 approx., Apr 15 at 0637 UT, weak IBOC noise
peaks, never heard around here before, and certainly not from my local
KZLS 1640. NRC AM Log does not put an I by any of the few other 1640s;
only KBJA UT and WJSP WI would be likely with WTNI MS gone; rather
than the CA or OR stations. Is there a reliable up-to-date IBOC roster

UNIDENTIFIED. 9350-9355-9360, Apr 15 at 2221, sounds like DRM noise in
the absence of WWCR on 9350. Nothing at all listed on 9355, AM or DRM;

** U S A. 7780, UT Tue Apr 14 at 0305, WRMI: for past several weeks
there has been an unlisted program immediately preceding WORLD OF
RADIO until 0330 UT Tuesdays when it is interrupted for WOR playback.
Usually in Spanish. I meant to start listening at 0300 in order to
identify it, since the System D and F program schedules do not account
for this semihour, 0300-0330! I am 5 minutes late but I do notice that
it`s // 5850. These do not match at all the Transmitter skeds: 5850 on
red System F from Slovakia to Prague at 0330.

But 7780 supposedly switches from D to F at 0330. Today I am hearing a
lengthy discussion about China between someone with an American accent
and one with a Chinese accent; they are obviously anti-ChiCom. There
is a brief clip in Chinese at 0322, back to English, but never any
program or station ID. Once WOR starts at 0330 on 7780, I keep
listening to 5850, which finally IDs at 0337 as FREEDOM SYNERGY RADIO,
and at the odd time of 0338 switches to Spanish. The words Freedom and
Synergy do not appear anywhere on current WRMI program skedgrid, nor
can I find them by searching or visual inspexion of the Programming
page!

And altho not regularly heard for the last few years, I did mention it
last in *2025*:

``CUBA. 5800, Jan 23 at 0724, lite pulse jamming against nothing,
long after WRMI is off this frequency. Presumably prompted by `Freedom
Synergy Radio` which is axually pro-Taiwan, anti-ChiCom, had been
scheduled at 0300-0400* on WRMI-10 5800, from System B, and maybe
still is. Shown only on the freq sked block, nowhere in the program
skeds. System B otherwise means 9955, where it`s not scheduled either.
IIRC, R. República was also on 5800 for a while, forever damaging it,
as once jammed, a frequency forever subject to be torn up by the
incompetent DentroCuban Jamming Command`` -- Well, we now know anyway,

service of WTWW is OFF. Nor of course on night frequency 5920 yet, nor
by 0106. Wonder what`s wrong now? IIRC, other WTWW was on 5085 for a
while early UT Mon Apr 13, but not by 0300 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 1530, Apr 13 at 0508, ID mentioning Zacatecas on 104.9 &
95.1, overcoming WCKY on my N/S antenna. That should be easy to look
up later: NOT. No such XE on 1530, rather it`s still the TX spoiler,
KZNX Creedmoor near Austin, U7! 10000/220 watts, as listed with those
two FM frequencies in NRC AM Log, and not near its El Paso listed

** U S A. 1590, Apr 13 at 0443 UT, Mexmx dominating on N/S antenna. I
stick with it hoping for a ToH ID; already at 0446 a ``full`` ID but
can`t copy anything more useful than ``Estás escuchando ... 101.``
algo, but there are one or two other SS QRMing. At 0500 no luck either
during an ID in Spanglish. I have been looking out for WCGO Evanston
IL, ``Ambiente Clásico`` which I used to get but presumably degraded
to 24 watts. Among USSS listings in NRC AM Log, the one in TX, KDAE
Sinton would be likeliest, U4 1000/500, SS:REL in R. Libertad group;
and group info on page 286 of NRC AM Log shows also a 101.7, K269GN!
which is in Corpus Christi, and Sinton is just NW of CC. As for
Mexico, FWIW no NA around 0500, and IRCA lists two possibilities,
XEVOZ in CDMX and XECCBB Guanajuato (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 1600 kHz, Apr 13 at 0502 UT, Vietnamese, or some other SEAs
language? Presumably KRVA Cockrell Hill [The Metroplex] TX: you won`t
find the true callsign anywhere on the https://vva1600.com/ website,
rather VVA1600 = Voice of Vietnamese Americans. Used to hear it more
at least before LSS when it would QRM KUSHing; now is 25000/930 watts.
Both day and night patterns have a small bulge thisaway NNW. Site is
at the SE corner of Dallas, thus the bulge (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 1650, Apr 13 at 0501 UT, tone mixing with other
stations. Always suspect KSVE El Paso which used to tonify all-night.
No tone before 0500 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 4885, Apr 13 0428, JBA carrier where normally there is
nothing. Dare we hope R. Clube do Pará reactivated from Brasil, once
the best S American signal on 60m? NO! Despite still listed only in
Aoki as if it exist. Europirates are showing up anywhere on 60m now

UNIDENTIFIED. 4975, Apr 13 at 0429, JBA carrier, as often noted
before, no clues, but now it`s wavering. No broadcasters known on
4975 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 9100, Apr 13 at 0413, instead of open carrier last time,
now some utenoise, but still accompanied by JBA clix and this time at
the rate of every 2 seconds, and JBA out to plus/minus 15 kHz =
9085/9115. What is this? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 9490, Apr 13 at 0412, S8/S9 open carrier. Only thing
listed now is TIBET, but more likely I think is Issoudun, France,
failing to turn off a couple hours after R. República - Aha, Tony

** TURKEY. 11660.004-, Apr 12 at 1640, VOT English in news, S9+25/30
backwards into UTwente; narrowed bandwidth to 5.08 kHz necessary to
eliminate het. 1642 the new time-filler of English broadcasts
schedule. It`s not in time or frequency order, but by target area, as
11785 is mentioned I think thrice, but seems some known broadcasts not
mentioned at all. Will have to copy to analyze in detail. This
apparently compensates for lack of full sked info at s/on/off.

1644, `Letterbox` theme starts. Cemre says rain has finally given way
to sunshine and some flowers are blooming. Hopes Friday was last day
to scrape ice off her windshield! 1) Bryan Baines McGuire?, County
Dublin, Ireland, uses 75-year-old Pye radio. 2) Chris Campbell,
Columbus OH, says 11785 at 2200 is useless, wasteful, due to Brazil on
11780, report forwarded to Emirler engineers.

suggestion of move to 11790, 11795 or 11800; also sent on to

runner. 1705 ending, 1706 wishing clear skies, strong signals and good
company. 1706 theme, and 1707 `Geoeconomix Diary` about 33% of food

** U S A [and non]. WORLD OF RADIO 2342 monitoring: as in last report,
I thought WTWW was going to play it again UT Sunday at 0300 on 5085;
but instead `T2P weekend edition` started at 0300 Apr 12, with BB
talking about his medical treatments; since it`s an hour long, maybe
WOR at 0400? But recheck at 0341, 5085 is already off the air. Anyhow
its modulation was clear, while the other WTWW, 5920 with TOMBS had a
horrible hum roar.

WOR confirmed UT Sunday April 12 at 0358 about 8 minutes into so the
0315v started about 0350 on WA0RCR, 1860 AM, MO, S7/9 into N9AZZ IL
remote.

Also confirmed Sunday April 12 at 0630 on WRMIs: 5850, S9+45/50
direct; 7780 S9; and 7730 JBA S6 which had not been confirmed
before.

Also confirmed Sunday April 12 at 1900 on IRRS SW via AM Italia
1322.996-, S9 into UTwente, right after 7290 s/off announcement.

1350s. Probably domestic, but lowest below 1350 in mwoffsets is from
20+ years ago: ``1349,9 CLM Radio Armonía (Cali) 2005-06-13``, 5 kW
HJEN still in 2026 WRTH; and I found another off-frequency report of
the 1350 station in Bahia, Brasil, 50 kW Súper Rádio Cristal, ZYH521,
also still in WRTH tho ZY AM`s are flocking to FM (Glenn Hauser, OK,

UNIDENTIFIED. 9100, Apr 12 at 0635, open carrier with clix at the rate
of 32 per minute; also JBA detectable out to plus/minus 15 kHz,
