RSLs in the UNITED KINGDOM
===========================
Radio Latics Oldham 1386kHz made its first broadcast of the new soccer season
on 5th Aug. (Alan Gale) At long last this station appears to be answering
listeners letters from last season. (Steve Whitt)

Radio Diamonds is a new soccer station likely to operate from the non-league
club Rushden and Diamonds FC in Northants - frequency unknown (Alan Gale)

Wolverhampton Wanderers FC are also planning a club radio station (perhaps
Wolves Radio??) (Derek Taylor)

There may be several RSLs operating on the VJ Day anniversary weekend 19 & 20
August. One that we know about is VJ Day Radio from Oldham on 1386kHz using
the Radio Latics facilities. Programming will be 24hours for the two days. If
you hear this one write to Alan Gale at 4 Waingap Crescent, Whitworth,
Rochdale, Lancashire OL12 8PX, England. This transmitter runs just 1 watt but
has been heard in Finland and many times in Sweden.  (Alan Gale)

DUTCH PIRATES
=============
Pirates operating around 1400kHz are starting to clear this part of the band
in advance of the official Dutch station Nieuws Radio due on 1395kHz. They
are trying 1500, 1470 and 1570/1580kHz  in addition to the more usual out of
band activity around 1635-1650kHz. (Derek Taylor)
