Hi there,

in general I can confirm the observations of Thomas Berner concerning the
italian DX-test. However I should describe the conditions less enthusiastic:
A weak opening towards South America and a single peak towards N. America.
Ap-Index has been low that night. SEC reported 6.

I had a weak carrier as early as 2225 going up at 2305 with pop-music and 
announcements
in between. The signal got better at 2317. Much better a few days ago.

There was a humming carrier blocking the frequency, obviously _not_ coming

AIR-Buttibori has been audible with poor to fair signal strength. However 
the Farsi-program
mentioned above and the non-stop a pop-music program coming from Europe were 
causing a lot
of interferences. Also a whistle for 1567 kHz has been heard (reported 
latetly by several
american DXers).

Stopped here, as nothing better had to be expected.

RX: mod. HF 225 Europe, loop-antenna of 2 sq.m. area.
    For reference I also checked on my mod. NRD 535 D with sloping longwire 
(25m)
    and inverted V (for 60 mb directed E/W). But there has been nothing 
else.
