The NTA (National Transmission Agency) of Australia is currently testing
a new ABC transmitter on 1062 kHz. The transmitter located at Renmark
(Berri) South Australia is 2.5kw.

The 1062 kHz service 5RN Renmark will carry ABC Radio National & replace
1305 kHz 5MV Renmark (Berri) which carries Radio Regional.

The official opening date is July 11 1996.
