< WRSC State College PA or WRTK Youngstown OH come to mind.  WRSC is sometimes
< heard here in the New York area with sports talk around that time; WRTK is
< also a talk station.

WRSC often features lion roars. State College is the home of Penn 
State University and its "Nittany Lions" football team. At least, 
they were still using the lion roars a year ago when I was last there 
for a visit.
