NORTH KOREA

Frontline Soldiers Radio on 1615v kHz drifted to 1612-1613v kHz last week
(first noted May 16). This frequency had stayed around 1615-1616 kHz since
it came out several years ago. Co-channel jammer from the South also has
adjusted its frequency. 2625 and 3015 kHz seem to be stable. South Korea's
KBS Radio One has a powerful signal on 1602 kHz, apparently in an effort to
interfere. South Korea routinely allocates high-power KBS signals on AM
channels adjascent to North Korea's.
