Hi Martin,

Many thanks for that piece of good news. I just checked 1566 and all I
could find was a blank carrier. Alas, the bad news is that the 'Voice of
Oldham' finished its 28 day broadcast at midnight (BST) on saturday 28th.
Pity Eviva couldn't have departed a few days earlier.

Regarding Radio Latics, we are awaiting the results of a meeting with the
Football club later this month to confirm that we will be returning for the
new soccer season. This begins in August, and if we are returning I will
post the broadcast dates for the season on this mailing list.

Finally, I have a number of 'Voice of Oldham' car stickers, if anyone
would like one just send me a SAE (in the UK) big enough to hold a 8" x 2"
(20 x 5 cm) sticker, or 1 IRC for overseas and I'll be happy to send you
one. It's unlikely that the station will return again unless it wins a full
time licence, so these may soon be collectors items!

Just send them to me at:

4 Waingap Crescent, Whitworth, Rochdale, Lancashire OL12 8PX, England.

73, Alan Gale (Station Engineer Radio Latics/Voice of Oldham)
