anncrs. trade newscript, sounding like a Russian dialect. Stationed is
scheduled to be in Belarusian to Europe on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and
Friday. German is scheduled on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday. SINPO=43334.
Musical piano closes the news into feature, poor signal by 1843. (Van Horn,
Sept 9)

GABON 15475 Africa # 1 1845-1857 OM w/ French newscast and phone-in
correspondent's report. Musical jingles to African highlife music. Program
promo with ID/jingle. French reggae vocals to highlife melody played on a
mbira instrument at 1857, // 9580 very poor quality. Station ID/kHz quote
at 1900. 15475 dropped at 1900, poor 9580 still remaining on at 2300

GREECE 9935 Radio Station Macedonia 1906-1946 Greek pop music at tune-in,
to station ID at 1908. // 7430 poor. YL w/ brief announcement, possibly an
intro type. Sports commentary followed (soccer?) with crowd noise. Sports
commentary still active at 1946 recheck. Programming targeted to Europe and
Middle East. (Van Horn, Sept 9)

ICELAND 13860 USB Rikisutvarpid SW Service 1935 Icelandic talk from
male/female with phone-in chats. Very poor quality signal, no // noted on
11402, 9275 or 7735. (Van Horn, Sept 9)

JORDAN 11740 Radio Jordan (Tentative) 1950-1959 Arabic vocals, no sign of
scheduled // 6105. YL's voice-over Arabic pops, excessive QRM by 1958. Time
tips signal into newscast format. (Sept 9) English newscast noted on 11690
at 1440. (Van Horn, Sept 10)

LIBYA 15415 Voice of the Greater Arab Homeland 2002-2015 Arabic vocals @
tune-in to Arabic music program. Big Ben chimes and time tips at 2014. High
static for talk, martial music and text readings at 2018. (Van Horn, Sept 9)

SAUDI ARABIA 9870 BSKSA 2025-2027 // 9555 Male in Arabic reading names.
Musical bridge to programming segments and talk about Riyadh. Very good

TOGO 5047.1 Radiodiff Togolaise 2342-004 OM/YL in French sounding like a
radio play. Mentions of Togolaise at 2344 into French pop vocals at 2345.
Pops continuing to 0000. Closing bits of local items, including station ID
to national anthem at 0002, open carrier to 0004 sign-off. (Van Horn, Sept

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES  11710 Radio Abu Dhabi 1820-2000 Arabic "pop" music at
tune-in to 1827. // 13605. Ocassional breaks, music programming continued.
Frequency change @ 2000, dropping // 13605, adding 9770 //. (Van Horn,
