*** COMMENTS ***

Just a few logs here this time from a quick 2.5 hour session
at Harwich on Saturday night. It was pouring with rain at
the time and there were gale force winds. Static crashes
were hitting over S9 (more like July than November). Lightning
strikes must have been within 200 miles, although I noted none
within visible range. It made for some noisy DXing. There
must have been a bit of auroral-zone extension since northerly
TA's were at a big disadvantage compared to those from Spain,
Morocco, and Algeria. The best signals were on the low end
of the dial. Algeria-549 and Morocco-612 were the two strongest
TA's: both were virtually local-like. It would be interesting
to compare my DX observations with those from the active European
DXpeditions and any other US/Canadian loggings made at the time.
