[HCDX]: SIO code question

Hi All,

What is the current common rule regarding the SIO code? Do we use the
extremes of 5 and 1 as in the SINPO code? Or are they omitted, and we only
use 2-3-4?

Radio Netherlands' popular "Writing Useful Reception Reports" booklet used
to say the latter, but the recent update has reversed the rule. It now
allows 1 and 5 in the SIO code.

As for me, I don't use 1 and 5 in my SIO ratings. Should I? Is there a
common agreement about this? Thank you!
