11540 R Kudirat Nigeria, 1920, fair signal w/anti-Nigerian regime propaganda,
slightly better than // 6205. Ormandy Feb 27

GEORGIA

6285 Voice of Hope, 1850, slight frequency change here ex-6290, fair-good
signal with religious programming. Ormandy Feb 25

INDIA

15075 AIR, 1900, fair signal though poorly modulated, carrying English program
on health reforms. Ormandy Feb 27

IRAN

9520 VIRI, 0430, new frequency for Turkish service, strong signal over co-
channel R Liberty. Ormandy Feb 28

ITALY

11840 RAI, 2030, fair signal in English, better on // 9685. Ormandy Feb 24

KAZAKHSTAN

11840 Kazakh Radio, 0650, very good signal here, maybe from Ukraine site?,
program in vernacular, way over R Japan's English service. Ormandy Feb 25

NORTH KOREA

6575 R Pyongyang, 1845, poor-fair signal in English with even poorer
modulation. Ormandy Feb 27

RUSSIA

21790 Voice of Russia, 0700, presumably still listed Irkutsk site, strong in
English to the South Pacific, //17860, 17495, 17570, 15470 & 15460. Ormandy
Feb 27

TAHITI

15170 RFO Papeete, 1900, fair signal, solidly on this frequency, running relay
of France Inter program at this time. Ormandy Feb 26

TURKEY

9540 Voice of Turkey, 2006, fair-good in English despite splash from 5kHz
either side. Ormandy Feb 24

USA

5770 World Harvest Radio, 0700, not sure if KWHR, WHRI or WHRA, regular theme
tune and identification sans call-sign. Into sermon with fair signal. Ormandy

9775 Voice of Greece via Delano, 0600, strong signal with program in Greek to

21525 WYFR Family Radio, 2020, fair signal with religious program in English.
