SV: [HCDX]: KWZ30: info anyone?

I have been using the KWZ-30 for MW DX-ing since mid-December.  I also have an AR7030 equipped with the NB7030 option and Murata K4 and K5 ceramic filters.

I find the KWZ very suitable for DX-ing, especially because of its sensitivity, strong signal handling and automatic multi-notch filter.  It also has a very informative display.  Comparisons with my AR7030 show that the AOR has the edge regarding selectivity and the ability to bring forth weak stations behind a dominating one, while the KWZ is better in bringing very weak stations up to a readable level and has a "calmer" audio.  The receiver is indeed suitable for Dx.

I haven't read the test in Shortwave Bulletin so I cannot comment on that.
