[HCDX]: From Laos to Nicaragua

Hello to all summer listeners!

From: July 13 to July 17, 1998. QTH: Asikkala 61N10 25E30.
Receiver: Lowe HF-225. Antenna: 4 x 100 metres wires.

I have never been a supporter of heatwaves or advocate of
sunbathing, but I am little by little becoming convinced that
we have had more than our fair share of rain for this summer.
The DX session of the last night became totally ruined as
Thor decided to give an unannounced Schoenberg concert on
airwaves, totally free. (Sorry for the analogue, Germans!
Schoenberg has made some good music too, honest!) DXing
was impossible in that lightning noise.

828 Arrow Classic Gold. A little wrestling with NDR,
and we (Arrow and me) won. July 14, 2329.

981 R Varna. July 15, 2000.

1296 COPE Valencia. Local commercial break. July 16, 2155.

4755 R Educacao Rural, Campo Grande. July 13, 2355.

4795 Rdif Aquidauana. July 13, 2335.

4855 R Centenario, Sta Cruz. July 14, 2255.

4926 R San Miguel, Riberalta. July 14, 2315.

4991 R Ancash, Huaraz. A real throw-away logging. I fighted
on the USB in the hope of Apintie. Again in vain.
        July 13, 2305.

5025 R Quillabamba. A real pest here. July 14, 0000.

5770 R Miskut, Puerto Cabezas. Nice to hear again! QSL
from year 1993 is safe in bookself, just checked out.
        July 15, 0030.

6130 RN LAO, VIENTIANE. Clear and beautiful signal from
sign/on till the Spanish sign/on around 2257 UTC.
Thus I logged Laos for the 1st time ever. 17 years
for Laos. Let's wish Cambodia pops up before the
        year 2015... :-P July 13, *2155-2257

11705 R Nova Visao/Transmundial. Last year I spent numerous
evenings here, trying to pick this up, and now it
thunders on an empty slot with no interefence at all!
        July 15, 2105.

In addition to that, noted several Brazilians from 15 to 31 m.
15135 Record, 11925 Bandeirantes, 11915 Gaucha, 11815 RBC,
