Hi All

As at 11:07 UTC 31/7/98 from here in Wellington the 12 meg channel
is weak but clear, the 4 meg channel sounds stronger but is
almost totally blocked by a rtty(?) signal.

I noted last night that the NPR Morning Edition program was advertising
a toll-free number in Japan for subscribing to the Herald Tribune.

Does this indicate that the satellite feed that is being relayed
is destined for Asia?
