[HCDX]: Max Power for TIS stations.

This is a reply to a question about power of TIS stations in the
AMFMTVDX mailing list. My apologies to the poster of the question,
my mailer ate a bunch of mail including his message. I will be glad
to give full credit if he will tell me who he is.

The FCC regs call for a 10 W maximum. However, in cases where it can
be demonstrated that one higher powered transmitter broadcast to a
coverage area better than several 10 W transmitters, the FCC will
waive the 10 W maximum. That has happened at Dallas-Forth Worth
International Airport WPLR660 on 1640 and 1680 (60 watts each) and at
Miami International Airport on 530 WNQM383 (90 watts).
