690 CBF QU, Montreal. 1/21 2134 and later. Heard a 30 second long
loop tape of a female in FF telling listeners to tune to FM. I heard
the call letters CBF mentioned, which I had never heard before from
this station. They were off-the-air on 1/22 when several UNIDs were

690 WPHE PA, Phoenixville 1/24 0600:30 EE ID in a pause in SS
programming. Fair signal mixing with at least three others inclduing
WTIX and probably WJOX. (WJH-MD)
690 WTIX LA, New Orleans 1/24 0601 Male with ID a TC for 5:01 and a
string of ads? Fair in the mix. (WJH-MD)
770 WYRV VA, Cedar Bluff. 1/20 1730 Full sign off message. ?WYRV AM
7-70 Cedar Bluff. This is the (end) .. broadcasting day (of) WYRV. We

1040 WPEI224 MD, Hanover (Baltimore Washington International
Airport). Noticed off the air with transmitter or feed problems 1/20
1600 to at least 1830. This opened the channel for DX. They fix the

1040 WWBA FL, Pinellas Park. 1/20 1757-1800. Spiritual thought type
spots and TOH ID at 1759:45 into news at 1800. Mixing with WJNO. (WJH-

by female as ?AM 10-50 WADC.? Into song ?100 Miles.? Was good for a

WKDL off. Another station was trying to poke them in the mix. 1/16
1006-1013. ID by female as ?You?re in the middle ... 30 minutes of

1110 CKTY ON, Sarina. 1/23 1723-1730 ?Worst date experience? call-in
and Super bowl contest. ID by YL and music. Good over WBT! I
understand that CKTY will be moving to FM in about three months. (WJH-

1120 WPRX CT, Bristol.. 1/23 1800:45 EE ID in the middle of Latin
music as ?You are listening .. WPRX 11-20 AM .. Bristol .. Poor to
fair in KMOX null which was trying to fade in. (WJH-MD)
1120 WTWZ (tent) MS, Clinton. 1/23 1743-1744:30 Weak signal with
sign/off announcement. Heard unclear call letters that could be WTWZ
and a full announcement. This was followed by the SSB, but I am not
sure if they are connected. (WJH-MD)
1330 WESR VA, Olney. 1/21 1330-1400. Rush Limbaugh and ABC News at
TOH. Local and network ads. TOH ID at 1359:50 as ?AM 13-30 WESR
Olney, ..., ..., Onancock..? poor signal in mostly nulled WASA. (WJH-

1370 WJWS VA, South Hill. 1/21 0858-0900. ID at 0858 as ?... Big
(Ones) on the (guitar) here on 13-70 WJWS South Hill, Virginia. Into
local ads and a TOH ID at 0900. AP Network news at 0900. Channel

1390 WEED NC, Rocky Mount. 1/21 1801-1821 ?Tradio on the Radio.?
Callers with items to sell and buy. Closing announcement for the
segment at 1820:30 with ID. Popping up through the mix for short
bursts with a good signal at peaks. This was one of my most wanted

1440 WGIG GA, Brunswick. 1/21 1955-2008. Bruce Williams Talk Show,
local ads, and CBS News on the hour. ID by male as ?Real Radio, News
talk and sports. No one has it covered like 14-40 WGIG Brunswick -

French. Heard CKRB and at least one other set of calls (CJVL?).

1540 WDCD NY, Albany. 1/16 0938 and all day later. Channel dominant

1540 WXTY NC, Whiteville. 1/20 1700 ID and news. Not much else heard

1540 WYNC NC, Yanceyville. 1/17 0820-0900. Worship service at the
Sweet Gum Baptist Church and obituaries. TOH ID at 0900 channel

to the new ...AZX, Smyrna-Atlanta 101.(9) ... (A)M.? ID in Spanish

WKIK La Plata. We are WSMD Mechanicsville, Lexington Park, Prince
Frederick, Waldorf.? Into a jingle ?98.3 Star FM.? Followed by
music. Mixing with nulled WQEW (or whatever their calls are now).
