Re the "anti-skywave antenna" -- there is no way to keep the signal
totally groundwave and eliminate skywave propagation.  Perhaps what is
meant is that the antenna radiates at a very low vertical angle of
radiation.  If this is the case, there would be greater low-angle
skywave, with the first hop being over 1000 miles, as opposed to
short-skip of around 200 - 300 miles.  Stations are much more concerned
with interference to stations in the latter range.
