[HCDX]: Latin America DX

Hello everywhere,

once again I spent some nightly hours in front of my receiver. Due to good
conditions towards LA  I partly had phantastic signals, especially on 49m.
Radio Unión from Lima on 6115 came in like a local one. Very fine signals
also from Radio Fides on 6155 and from the usual Brasilians on 49m. Here now
the loggings in detail:


BOLIVIA

4926, Radio San Miguel, Riberalta; July 18, 0005-0030, Spanish, soccer
information, pathetic ID: "Radio San Miguel ... Bolivia, la patria".  33323
This station was the most powerful Bolivian that night, almost like in
former times...

4991.8, Radio Animas, Chocaya; July 17, 2340-2350, Spanish, Andean music, ID
by man.  22322

6155, Radio Fides, La Paz; July 18, 0120-0130, Spanish, phone-in-program,
time announcements, IDs, QRGs.  35433-4.  // 4845


BRASIL

5015, Rádio Brasil Tropical, Cuiabá; July 17, 2350-2400, Portuguese, soccer
info concerning the Copa América, ID.
This Brasilian station can be heard only between 2300 and 2400 UTC, when
Turkmenistan is off the air.  33423


COLOMBIA

6034.9, La Voz del Guaviare, San José del Guaviare; July 18, 0140-0150,
Spanish, romantic songs.  33423


GUATEMALA

4799.8, Radio Buenas Nuevas, San Sebastián; July 18, 0225-0233, Spanish,
station closing down, QRGs, ID: "Radio Buenas Nuevas desde la corazón de la

Unfortunately the station was blocked at 0135 by a strong carrier.
