[HCDX]: Solar eclipse!

As most of those on the list know, the solar eclipse is closing in....

Before this seldom event takes place.....I thought I might ask some
questions so we all can get enlighten a bit, about the possible reception
of MW and lower SW band stations.

When would the first signs of increase of reception start....so far I
have understood the "after effect" will last a little longer before it
diminishes!?

What area could we expect to hear....could we take in use the grey-zone
standards or what?

I guess the whole thing goes down to monitoring stations in a radius of
perhaps 7-800 km's or what...which means the european and african
stations?

Hopefully there is some that have a little more knowledge on this?

Here in my part of Norway, the eclipse is expected to be around 70%,so
continental Europe are lucky.....

Anyway .......good luck everybody in your efforts, for those that get the
chance to do this in the middle of the day.
