Re: [HCDX]: Beverage Antennas

Hi Chris:

I have experimented with terminations for years now, but I have been
wondering about my NNW wire. Since I am unable to run a beverage to the
NE, towards Europe, I have been trying to come up with an idea, so my
NNW wire (355 degrees), would work for TAs. I used to have 2000+ feet to
the NNW, but it never worked well for TAs. After I shortened it to about
900 feet I started getting more TAs. This Summer someone cut about 100
feet off the end. I have not reconnected it up, as I haven't had the
time. I did have an opening for TAs last week and I heard Norway-1314
fairly well with the 800+ feet out there, unterminted now. I was
wondering if I reterminate the wire will the directivity tighten to the
NNW. I have been trying to get that wire to receive TAs better. Any
thoughts on the subject?
Thanks.
