On Oct 22, the Uruguayan Postmaster released a set
of two "souvenir sheets" commemorating the 70th Anniversary of SODRE.  It
was expected to be issued on Dec 17 (the exact date of the anniversary is
Dec 18), but it is already on sale.  Each sheet contains four stamps with
different themes.  One refers to the radio service, the others the
symphonic orchestra, dance, choir, TV, cinematography, and the chamber
ensemble.  The complete set (sorry, no partitions possible) is available
for US $4 plus postage (see below).  Also available are the two First Day
Covers, each with a sheet cancelled First Day of Issue.  Both FDCs together
cost $5 plus postage.  The package of both the two sheet set and the stamps
on the FDCs costs $9 plus postage.  Postage is:  Airmail Normal/Airmail
Certified, to the Americas $2/$3, to other countries $3/$4, cash only, no
