[HCDX]: No EE radio flagship for Montreal Expos

It may not exactly be baseball wx here in eastern Canada, but there are only
6 weeks to spring training and the Montreal Expos do not have an English
flagship for the 2000 season.  The Expos 1999 flagship, CIQC-600, dropped
baseball when they moved to 940 and became "940 News".  CJAD-800 would seem
like a no-brainer choice to be the Expos new radio outlet.  But CJAD still
have not signed off on a deal to broadcast baseball, in part because they
are also the Canadiens flagship, and in Montreal hockey is king!  CJAD also
broadcasts Aloutettes CFL football.  All-oldies CKGM-990 may also be
interested in the Expos broadcasts.  At least baseball might help CKGM's
dismal ratings.
