Two Iraqi clandestines are observed regularly (here in
Europe) with their morning and evening programmes.
Radio Kurdistan, Voice of the Kurdistan
Socialist Democratic Party can be heard signing-on around 0300 and 1600
on 4130 kHz, and Voice of Independence, Radio of
the Conservative Party of Kurdistan can be heard at the same times on,
or near, 4175 kHz - this one drifts down in frequency at
the rate of about 1 kHz every 15 minutes.
You can hear recently-recorded clips with ID texts of
both these stations in the Clandestine Services section of the Interval Signals
Archive at the URL given below.
Also heard this evening (21st): NBC Karai National
Radio from Papua New Guinea, on 4890 kHz, observed at 1930 with fair
reception.
