Thanks to everyone who shed some light on this,
especially Karel's comprehensive report. For anyone interested, here are
the frequencies I heard religious programming on:
27265, 27295, 27305, 27335, 27345 and 27405 kHz.
27265 was the most stable and clear frequency. The distance should be
somewhere near 2600 km.
