1.      REASONS FOR CONTEST it is a reseach contest to help all DXers who for various reasons are unable to listen regurarly at night

 4.      FREQUENCIES: to be monitored frequencies between 3200 and 6950 KHz. Utility stations, amateurs station and standard frequency and time signal stations will not be counted.

 5.      LISTENING: stations are to be logged 30 minutes, the details of the programmes heard will receive additional points. More details more points. Recorded tapes will not be accepted.

 6.      LOG SHEET: the partecipant must compile the listening log with the following details for each station logged: name, town, country of the station, day and time UTC, frequency, details of the programs listened, receiver and antenna utilized, quality of reception using 310 code.

 7.      POINT SCORE: for each correct station logged 20 points with extrapoints for all correct programme details reported for each logged station. 20 penalty points for every incorrect station included in the log.

 8.      CONTEST FEES : all loggings must be sent to the following address: Roberto PAVANELLO, Via C. Colombo 25, 13100 VERCELLI, ITALY before December 31, 2000, together the subscription fees to the contest fixed in 6 IRCs or 5 U.S.A. Dollars or 5.000 Italian Lire. Free of charge for DXer living in the former european communist countries. The contest is open only for european DXer or listeners located in Europe.

9.      PRIZES: 1 LA DXing N.6 by Radio Nuevo Mundo and much more. All partecipant will receive a complete result-list and a certificate which indicates the ranking and the total number points.

10. This contest is to remember Bernhard Gruendl, dead in a car crash in the June 1991. Bernhard Gruendl was one of the most serious european tropical bands DXer.
