It has finally happened. After years of putting up with put downs from
the better half about the huge waste of time and money this radio hobby
actually is, it has paid off and got me a job.

The new role is with a company dealing in wireless networks, and they
needed someone with an understanding of radio. So the hobby and having
written the occasional commercial article for Radio & Communications has
paid off helped swing it my way, and my wife is now banned from
complaining about the radios!

A victory for the good guys :-)
