Good for you. I work for a small medical company which produces treatment
planning systems and much networking is used.  One of the problems for
installation is networking, running those lovely cables.  I was talking to
one of my co-workers saying it would be neat to use the 900 mhz band and set
up a transmit and receive system and no cable needed.  All this was just
last week.  Great!  Hopefully this will become common place..
