Hi Paul and others:

What a great story! It sure brought back memories of the logging of WXLE
here on the Oregon coast. One thing though, the station did stay on
until the Spring or Summer on 1979. I have a tape of Joyce Haas ID from
that time. My QSL reception was from June 4th, 1979. That is about the
last time I heard them.  I wonder if the tower is still standing? Is
there anyone still location on Canton Island?  Anyone know?
