[HCDX] MW DX TIPS (WDXR)

1200 Khz - KOQI? - CA, Soquel, maybe the one at 2330 EDT 7/27 with Jazz
mx, not the reg C&W normally hrd. I wonder if they were testing with
other formats? (PM-OR)

1560 kHz - WRHC - FL, Coral Gables, popped out of nowhere with man ancr
saying "1560-WRHC", with piano music in and around ID. Don't know if the
music was from WRHC or not at 0407 EDT 7/28. Apparently they are still
operating here. I was pleased to get the ID on tape, even though I
allready have a QSL from them. (PM-OR)

1560 kHz - UNID - Oldies rock station here with Supremes "Come See About
Me" and K.C. and Sunshine Band "Keep it Comin' Love" at 0416 EDT 7/28,
ID at 0415, like the old "Drake" IDs from KFRC in the 60s, but too much
other QRM to ID. Who is old rock on 1560 and operates nights here?

1560 kHz - UNID - R&B station with what sounded like a Southern accent,
but hard to tell for sure at 0421 EDT 7/28  (PM-OR)

1560 kHz - UNID  EZ Listening music at 0426 EDT 7/28. This may have been
WRHC, no vocals, just background type inst. mx. (PM-OR)

1560 kHz - UNID SSer, in there, buried, it may have been a Rel, but hard
to tell at 0419 EDT 7/28. (PM-OR)

This has been the best opening to the East I have heard in many months.
Maybe this is a sign that MW cx are finally improving.
