Odp: [HCDX] Poland

I heared Radio Maryja on 1080 kHz during my holiday stay south of Poland in
Zakopane (Tatra mountains). Signal was good even though it was groundwave
obviously. I logged them only once on 11 July 2000 from 12.15 UTC for about
40 minutes (then abroubly discontinuing relay without notice), though I
checked the frequency on regular basis during the next couple of days. Then
I contacted Radio Maryja by phone, but nobody was able to give reliable
information if the station is testing on mediumwave. Astonishingly, they
were surprised hearing from me on their transmission on MW ! I was only
advised that Father Gregory could know something about it (if anybody), but
I was unable to contact him. If the station is really testing on MW, that
means that Poland is back on mediumwave after leaving it, as far as I
remember, in January 2000 ceasing AWR broadcasts to Scandinavia.
