Recieved a  F/D pcc in 1 1/2 weeks from v/s Marc Steenhuison, Program
Director/Morning DJ (aka Marc Stevenson) for mint stamp. No mention of
when they plan to be vacate AM.

Also, just returned from a trip to Manitoba.  CKX 1150 is // KIX 96.1 FM.
Nobody seems to know when they plan to silence their 50 kW AM transmitter.

Winnipeg AM is really interesting..."Tripping back to the 70's"  CKY 580
is an oldies station with late 60's early '70s jingels and old rock star
DJ's Joey Gregorish (Hits "Jodie" and "The Wedding Song") and Adult
comedian Gary "Big Daddy" McLean of "Mclean & McLean" fame.  A very tired
sounding morning man Don Percy is still there also.  There is another
station on 1290 (CF??) playing hits from the 30's and 40's and jingels
from the same era.  CJOB 680 is still the talk/bitch about everything
station.  Other than CBC Radio One 990 and the multi-cultural station on
810 AM radio is not to interesting in the 'Peg.
