[HCDX] Radio Australia Olympic transmission changes



This is a summary of RA transmission changes associated with RA's
Olympic
coverage. RA's special Olympic coverage will be carried on Lines D & F.
Three additional hours of transmission will be mounted each day by
running
scheduled program from transmitter 7 from 0800-1100 UT.

The special schedule will commence on 15 September 2000 at 0658 UT and
remain valid until 1400 UT on Monday 2 October when normal working per
RAOS A00 v
1.2 should be resumed for all lines of transmission.

ONE-OFF TRANSMISSION CHANGES AT SHEPPARTON

1.       Only on Friday 15 September on Line F end 17580 kHz at 0658 UT
and
         start 13605 kHz at 0700 UT.

FULL DURATION (15 Sept. -> 2 Oct.) TRANSMISSION CHANGES AT SHEPPARTON

1.       On Line D (Tx 4) 21740 kHz into P5/070 will end at 2358 UT.

2.       On Line D (Tx 4) 21725 kHz into J21/355 will commence at 0000
UT.

3.       On Line E (Tx 5) 9580 kHz into P4/070 will commence at 0800 UT.

4.       9710 kHz into JR/353 will be removed from Line E and will be
         re-established on the the standby transmitter between 0758 and
1100
         UT.

FULL DURATION (15 Sept. -> 2 Oct.) PROGRAM FEED CHANGES AT SHEPPARTON

1.       Split program from Line C (Delta receiver channel RA2C) to feed
9710
         kHz on standby transmitter between 0758 and 1100 UT.

ONE-OFF PROGRAM SWITCHING CHANGES AT SOUTHBANK

1.       Only on  Friday 15 September switch Line F to Tuning Signal at
0658
         UT and then RA Olympic program (refer to Roger Broadbent) and
delete
         the Tuning Signal at 0758-0800 UT

FULL DURATION (15 Sept. -> 2 Oct.) PROGRAM SWITCHING CHANGES AT ABC
SOUTHBANK

1.       Line D (RA2D) will carry Tuning Signal from 2358 to 0000 UT.

2.       On Line D the existing Tuning Signal at 0058 to 0100 UT will be

         deleted.

3.       On Line E (RA1E) the existing Tok Pisin at 0900 to 1100 UT and
the
         existing Tuning Signal at 1058 to 1100 UT will be deleted and
         replaced with ELP from 0900 to 1100 UT.

4.       Olympic program on Lines D & F will be as advised by Roger
Broadbent.

This memo should be read in conjunction with the temporary RAOS, A00 v
1.3
which shows ONLY the changes associated RA's Olympic coverage. The other

Shepparton and Brandon transmissions on Lines A, B, C and G/J are
unchanged and remain as defined on A00 v 1.2.
