Maybe so, but...

1) Zanzibar has been known to run until 2100*

2) Reception was from west coast, where abnormal propagation conditions could be entirely different

3) how many stations are there on 11734, as opposed to 11735?

Unless the ECNA was completely blocked by the solar flare activity on
11/24, the station mentioned here was NOT Zanzibar.  There wasn't a peep
out of the station yesterday during it's normal broadcasting times until
s/off at 2000, and the report was for almost an hour AFTER normal s/off.  I
would suggest another station on 11735, because upon many checks yesterday,
Zanzibar wasn't heard.
