[HCDX] MW dx'ing

Hi
First,let me start by saying that is going to sound like a stupid 
question.But,I never really have done MW dx'ing  before ,and I have  a 
couple of questions.
First what is the expanded AM band starting at ? I know it must be somewhere 
around 1500 or higher.
Second, I am using  an R390 ,which I know has real nice sensitivity from 
doing my SW dx'ing,but is there anything  on it using the  MW bands I need 
to know about? Certain settings  maybe? Any tricks to think about here?
I  have three antennas here at my disposal.A 100 ft longwire running 
somewhat east,60 ft dipole going east -west or so,and a 21 ft vertical.
Any ideas would be  helpful :)
