some DX-observations from Central America:


DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

5009.8  R Cristal Internacional, Santo Domingo, January 5, 2245-2335,
Spanish, merengue music, soccer information announced as relay from the
local station Radio Pueblo; jingles, commercial for household goods
("electrodomésticos"), local news from Santo Domingo, ID: "Radio Cristal
Internacional en onda corta, gracias por su sintonía y enfoque ..."  SINPO
32422

Thanks to Mark Veldhuis, who recently reported this station as active again.


GUATEMALA

4052.5  R Verdad (presumed), Chiquimula, January 5, 2345-2355, traces of
religious songs, choir, very poor signal.  SINPO  12221

4799.8  R Buenas Nuevas, San Sebastian de Huehuetenango, January 5,
2355-0000, Spanish, religious program, ID; blocked at 0000 by a carrier on
same frequency.  SINPO  23322


HONDURAS

4819.2  La Voz Evangélica, Tegucigalpa, January 6, 0020-0030, Spanish,
Christian songs. SINPO  23422

4832.1  R Litoral, La Ceiba, January 6, 0003-0007, Spanish, station closing
down and sign off at 0007; station IDied here some days before.  SINPO 22322
