6105  26 Feb 2305 R (Cultura) Filadelphia, Foz de Iguazu, a new one for me. "Filadelphia Musical" with
evangelican songs in Portuguese. QSA 2-3, and little QRM before 0000 when BBC comes on with Spanish on 6100. Own  px  with  DJ live from studio, talking with enthusiasm about "as cataratas" nearby. JB

About the wide pulse in the 90mb. This morning 27 Feb, from 0622 it was there  between 3074A to 0370A, peaking on 3210A. Transmitting  in 5 min blocks, with pauses. Every second pause is 5 minutes long, every other just a few seconds long. This sequence heard here 0622-0732, then I quit.  JB

The telephone men came around to repair a neighbour's line yesterday, did so, but disconnected me. After a few rather angry words from me over another phone, they came back this morning and fixed it. No apology. "It's one of these things that might happen.."      I did not ask who might be  disconnected this time.....
