[HCDX] Lowe HF-150 vs. JRC NRD-345

I have the chance to buy a second-hand JRC NRD-345 in
excellent conditions at a very attractive price. My
current receiver is a Lowe HF-150 (with a passive
preselector). My listening habits are broadcast and
tropical bands DXing. I do not listen to hams or
utility stations.

My questions are:

How much performance gain can I expect from the
NRD-345 vs. my current HF-150?

Is it worth selling the HF-150 (with the preselector)
to buy the NRD-345?

Any input from people who have used or tested these
two receivers will be very appreciated.
